Meet Amanda Lausch, wound & hyperbaric specialist

Originally from North Carolina, Amanda moved to the mid-west in her teen years. She loves the peacefulness of North Dakota and the ability to get away from the busyness of life. She and her family enjoy the Jamestown community as it provides the amenities of a larger town, yet small enough that it doesn’t take long to get across town. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading nonfiction books, baking healthy meals, crafting and coffee time with friends.

Amanda stays busy as an active board member of Family Voices of North Dakota. They serve families that have children with special healthcare needs across the state of North Dakota. In the past, she has served two terms on a governor-appointed position on the North Dakota Interagency Coordinating Council (NDICC). In that position, Amanda represented the region for families and children with special healthcare needs, meeting with state representatives and advocating for the families and the community in her area. In addition, she is a University of Mary Clinical Practice Professor and contributes her expertise as a practitioner in preparing and assisting with the instruction of students. She also volunteers for Make-A-Wish as a specially-trained volunteer. Amanda is also a member of Temple Baptist church, actively serving within the church and community outreach programs.
