Jamestown Regional Medical Center believes in the dignity, grace and honor of all individuals. That is why it offers home health and hospice services. Planning end-of-life care can be intimidating. But, it doesn’t have to be. The JRMC Home Health & Hospice team can walk families through it.

To help, JRMC is offering an end-of-life planning class on Tuesday, Nov. 7 called “JRMC Hospice: From Cure to Comfort.”

“Hospice doesn’t mean giving up,” said Maren Radi, JRMC hospice coordinator and registered nurse. “It means that the patient chooses the quality of life rather than quantity, to live the remainder of his or her days in the comfort of their own home surrounded by family and friends.”

Informed patients and families make the best decisions about healthcare. So, JRMC is offering this educational seminar to help the community.

Since 1995, JRMC Hospice has been committed to providing individuals with compassionate end-of-life care. They provide humane and compassionate care for individuals and their families in the last stages of an incurable disease. This allows them the opportunity to live life fully and as comfortable as possible.

The event is free and open to the public.
