Job title & description: “I’m the JRMC Clinic Manager-RN. I manage JRMC’s specialty clinic. The job is a fun challenge as JRMC continues to add new providers. Today, the clinic is home to Dr. W. Thomas Coombe, Ear, Nose & Throat physician; Dr. Bailey Runkles, gynecologist & obstetrician; Drs. Michael Dean and Timothy Volk, orthopedic surgeons; Dr. Rachael Renschler, podiatrist/foot & ankle surgeon; Dr. Robert Bates, urologist; and Amanda Lausch, FNP and Randy Perkins, FNP, of the JRMC Wound Center.”
What brought you to JRMC?: “I wanted to move closer to my family and hometown. I also enjoy working in the acute care setting. Working at JRMC allowed me to increase my knowledge and experience in acute care.”
What’s your advice to students starting school this fall?: “Embrace the challenge, be organized, focus on the ‘big picture’ and love what you do.”
